CASE STUDY · KICK AI
LIVE · SPORTS GAMINGFootball gaming. In real time.
Watch the match. Predict the next move. Get an instant result.
KICK AI is an interactive sports gaming platform that combines live football broadcasts, real-time predictions and a fast-paced digital gaming experience. During the match, users join short live rounds, pick areas or scenarios on the pitch — and earn points based on what actually happens on the grass.
We built the product end to end — product strategy, UX/UI, frontend and backend development, an admin platform, and an infrastructure that lives entirely in real time.

01 / What we built
Three parts. One experience.
KICK AI was created to turn football viewing from a passive experience into an interactive one. We built every layer — from the interface the user sees to the engine that runs every round.
02 / The challenge
Speed. Clarity. Reliability.All at once.
Real-time sports products require a precise balance between speed, clarity and reliability. The main challenge was to create a platform that could:
- Present live gaming options without distracting from the broadcast.
- Allow users to make a prediction within seconds.
- Manage short rounds with clearly defined opening and closing times.
- Synchronize match events, round status and user balances.
- Communicate wins and losses instantly and clearly.
- Remain easy to understand for first-time users.
And beyond all that — the product needed to feel like a premium digital game, not a traditional, overly complex betting interface.
03 / The solution
One round. Seven steps.Then again.
We created a pitch-based gaming experience focused on the action itself. The interface presents a football pitch divided into selectable areas — each round, users predict the area or event they believe will occur next. Once the round closes, all selections are locked, the platform waits for the match event and updates the user immediately.
- A new round opens
- The user selects an area or outcome
- The prediction is confirmed
- The round closes
- The match event takes place
- The platform calculates and displays the result
- The next round begins

05 / A pitch-based interface
The pitch is the interface.
Instead of presenting users with long tables of options and odds, the platform turns prediction into a simple visual action. Users immediately understand:
- Where they can make a selection.
- Which option is currently active.
- How much time remains.
- Whether the round is open or locked.
- What the final outcome was.
The visual language combines a dark pitch, focused color highlights, short animations and clear win states — while keeping the screen clean and easy to scan.

06 / Game formats
Short rounds.Endless variations.
The experience is built around short prediction rounds that run alongside the live match. Each round includes a timer, selectable options, a stake or point selection — and a clear indication when no additional predictions can be submitted.
- Next pitch area
- Corners
- Throw-ins
- Free kicks
- Penalty-box events
- Special outcomes
This modular structure allows new game formats to be introduced without changing the core user experience.
07 / Game engine
A system that runs every round. From open to outcome.
Behind the interface, we built a system that manages the complete lifecycle of every prediction round — designed to support high levels of concurrent activity and real-time match events.
- Opening new rounds
- Managing round timers
- Receiving & locking selections
- Processing results
- Updating balances & points
- Displaying winning outcomes
- Auto-advancing to the next round
- Handling delays, cancellations & connection issues
08 / Admin platform
Full operational control. No code changes needed.
We developed an operational admin environment that gives the KICK AI team control over the games and content displayed to users:
- Create and manage matches.
- Open and close gaming rounds.
- Configure prediction formats.
- Monitor user activity.
- Review selections and outcomes.
- Manage banners, notifications and content.
- Follow live system activity.
- Investigate failed or unusual rounds.
09 / UX & visual design
Three design principles.
10 / Mobile first
Designed for one hand.
The platform was designed primarily for mobile usage. The interface can be operated with one hand and lets users complete the main actions without moving through multiple screens.
- Large touch targets
- Fast performance
- Responsive pitch layouts
- Clear and concise copy
- Lightweight animations
- The broadcast stays at the center
11 / The outcome
A complex idea.A simple product.
KICK AI transformed a complex real-time sports concept into a simple, clear and scalable digital product. The final experience lets users actively participate during a football match, receive immediate feedback for every prediction — and stay engaged throughout the broadcast.
The underlying platform can be expanded with additional game formats, tournaments, scoring systems and new interactive sports experiences.
